Abstract:
A polarization state measurement apparatus, which is applied to the field of optical communication. The polarization state measurement apparatus comprises a crystal (200), reflective structures (202, 204, 206) and detector sets (203, 205, 207, 208). When incident light is incident on the first reflective structure (202), first reflected light and first transmitted light are generated. The first reflected light is incident on the second reflective structure (204) to generate second reflected light and second transmitted light. The second reflected light is incident on the third reflective structure (206) to generate third reflected light and third transmitted light. The detector sets (203, 205, 207, 208) are used to measure four light intensities (I) of the first transmitted light, the second transmitted light, the third transmitted light, and the third reflected light. The four light intensities (I) are used to obtain the polarization state of the incident light. The first reflected light and the second reflected light pass through the crystal (200), such that the number of transmission matrices can be increased, thereby increasing the flexibility of designing a polarization state measurement apparatus.
