Abstract:
This fulcrum position calculation method for calculating a fulcrum position of a wire electrode (18) of a wire electrical-discharge working machine (10) comprises: acquiring, from a storage unit (32), a table of fulcrum positions that correspond to each of a plurality of angles including a first angle, which is an angle of inclination of the wire electrode (18); tilting the wire electrode (18) by the first angle; measuring the fulcrum position corresponding to the first angle; calculating the correction value on the basis of the fulcrum position corresponding to the first angle in the table and the fulcrum position corresponding to the first angle that has been measured; and calculating fulcrum positions corresponding to respective angles on the basis of the correction value and the fulcrum positions corresponding to respective angles in the table.
