Abstract:
The present invention provides a pillow wherein: of a region between the superior nuchal line and the inferior nuchal line of the occipital bone of a person lying face up, a main support part provides support by supplying planar pressure to at least a region that is from the left end of a part where the trapezius muscle attaches to the occipital bone to a part where the left sternocleidomastoid muscle attaches to the occipital bone, and a region that is from the right end of the part where the trapezius muscle attaches to the occipital bone to the part where the right sternocleidomastoid muscle attaches to the occipital bone; and a sub support part which has a lower height of support than the main support part provides support by applying pressure to a part of the head with is further to the top of the head than the superior nuchal line of the person lying face up. This pillow does not have a member which provides support by applying pressure below at least the first cervical vertebra to the second cervical vertebra in the person lying face up and below the temporal muscle of said person.
