Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a pigment composition which can exhibit good dispersibility and dispersion stability of a pigment in a polyurethane ink etc. and a colorant and a liquid ink which each contain the pigment composition. Specifically, a pigment composition according to the present invention comprises: at least one organic pigment selected from the group consisting of benzimidazolone azo pigments and quinacridone pigments; and at least one polycarboxylic acid compound represented by formulas (I)-(III). (The symbols in formulas (I), (II), and (III) are as described in the present specification.)
