Abstract:
This picking system comprises: a first cart which is provided with a first arm and which travels along a first lane established outside an accommodating unit in which a load is accommodated; a second cart which is provided with a second arm and which travels along a second lane established outside the first lane; and a control unit which performs control such that the first cart uses the first arm to pick up the load while traveling along the first lane, and transfers the load to the second cart, and the second cart uses the second arm to receive the load picked up by the first cart, while traveling along the second lane, and transports the load to a predetermined position.
