Abstract:
A photovoltaic module and a frame for the photovoltaic module. The photovoltaic module comprises a laminated member (3) and an edge wrapping frame (1). The edge wrapping frame comprises long frame sides (11) and short frame sides (12); each long frame side is provided with a first edge wrapping slot (111), and the long frame side wraps the outer edge of the long side of the laminated member by means of the first edge wrapping slot; each short frame side is provided with a second edge wrapping slot (121), and the short frame side wraps the outer edge of the short side of the laminated member by means of the second edge wrapping slot; the long frame sides are electrically connected to the adjacent short frame sides. The frame for the photovoltaic module comprises a bottom plate (51), a side plate (52) and a top plate (53); the top plate is parallel to the bottom plate; the bottom plate, the side plate, and the top plate define an edge wrapping slot; the frame wraps the outer edge of the laminated member of the photovoltaic module by means of the edge wrapping slot. According to the photovoltaic module and the frame for the photovoltaic module, a grounding operation is facilitated when the photovoltaic module is mounted, and the mounting cost of the photovoltaic module is reduced.
