Abstract:
Provided is a phosphor powder that can be uniformly filled into a package rib even in the case of a micro package rib, and that makes it possible to fabricate a light-emitting element demonstrating a high EQE. Further, the present invention also provides: a phosphor-containing composition comprising such a phosphor powder; a phosphor; a light-emitting element; and a light-emitting device. This phosphor powder comprises a plurality of phosphor particles and has a cumulative 80% diameter (D80) in a volumetric particle size distribution, as measured by a laser diffraction particle size distribution measurement method, of 30 μm or less. Further, this phosphor powder has a grain gauge evaluation value of 10 μm or more and 50 μm or less, the grain gauge evaluation value being obtained by measuring, in accordance with JIS K 5600-2-5: 1999, a slurry obtained by adding the phosphor powder at a ratio of 40 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of a silicone resin, and then mixing by using a revolution-rotation type stirring and defoaming device.
