Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting angiogenesis, the composition comprising stepogenin as an active ingredient. The stepogenin according to the present invention may inhibit the proliferation and migration of vascular endothelial cells by inhibiting DLL4 expression and is therefore expected to be useful in a medicine, food, or anticancer supplement for preventing, ameliorating, or treating angiogenesis-related diseases caused by abnormal angiogenesis, or having benefits such as inhibiting angiogenesis.
