Abstract:
A personal mobility device configured so as to be capable of controlling travel according to the movement of the center of gravity of a passenger, and having the type of configuration in which vehicle wheels 15, 16 are provided on the underside of a passenger platform, wherein left and right drive wheels 15 are provided with a suspension (rotating shaft 31, attachment member 32, cushion material 33), and as a result, when strongly weighting one side of the passenger platform 10 in the left-right direction, the action of the suspension makes it possible to keep the drive wheel 15 on the other side in the left-right direction in contact with the ground surface, and avoid the problem of a drive wheel 15 lifting off the ground surface.
