Abstract:
A pedal pad (10) has a plate part (11) forming a plate-like shape and is rotationally moved around a shaft center (CL) perpendicular to an extension direction (Ds) by a stepping operation performed on the plate part (11) by a driver from one side in the plate thickness direction (Dt). A shaft member (20) is disposed at a position separated further downward in the vehicle than the plate part (11). A housing (40) rotationally supports the shaft member (20). A linking part (30) links the pedal pad (10) and the shaft member (20). This pedal device is an organ-type pedal device in which a pedal upper end section (12) is positioned further downward in the vehicle than a pedal lower end section (13) in a non-stepping state in which the stepping operation is not being performed on the plate part (11) by the driver. The pedal device has a space (S1) between the housing (40) and the pedal lower end portion (13).
