Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pedal, a cleat, a pedal system, and a bicycle with which the cleat and the pedal can be coupled and uncoupled quickly and easily. Provided is a pedal 10 that can be attached to and detached from a cleat, wherein the pedal 10 comprises a pedal base part, a pedal rotary connection part that is provided to the pedal base part and that connects to the cleat to enable rotation relative to the cleat with a rotational axis extending in the thickness direction of the pedal base part as a rotational center, and a plurality of pedal engagement parts that are provided to the pedal base part and that detachably engage with the cleat in the circumferential direction with the rotational axis as a rotational center, the plurality of pedal engagement parts being provided in positions joining the vertices of a polygon, and the rotational axis being passed through the inner region of the polygon.
