Abstract:
Disclosed is a partial discharge suppression method at a flange of a GIS/GIL supporting insulator. Taking reducing the electric field intensity in a local air gap region on a flange side as an optimization goal, optimal spatial distribution of internal dielectric parameters of supporting insulator flange side insulation is solved by using variable density or a level set algorithm. The geometric contour of a high dielectric region is extracted by using an image segmentation algorithm, and a CAD drawing of the geometrical shape of the high dielectric region is obtained by means of parametric modeling. Taking into consideration the mechanical properties and interfacial bonding strength of cast parts, the distribution of dielectric functionally graded materials is introduced to improve the structural design of the parts in the high dielectric region, and a high dielectric composite material is prepared by means of blending high dielectric fillers/polymers. 3D printing is used to complete the fabrication of the parts. Finally, the high dielectric part is placed into a traditional epoxy casting metal mold, and heat-cured epoxy resin is poured to complete the fabrication of the supporting insulator.
