Abstract:
A parking and retrieval method for a multi-layer parking garage using a random spare parking space for movement, comprising a PLC and an ultrasonic sensor, the ultrasonic sensor being electrically connected to the PLC, the PLC being used for recording parking information of each parking space in the parking garage, and the ultrasonic sensor being used for detecting and sensing whether there are vehicles or obstacles in the parking garage. When a vehicle in a certain parking space needs to be moved, the PLC firstly calls stored information to obtain an empty parking space nearest to said parking space and uses the ultrasonic sensor to determine whether there is an obstacle in said nearest empty parking space and, if there is no obstacle, then said nearest empty parking space serves as a spare parking space. The present solution has the following beneficial effects: by means of the synergy of the data operations and the detection by the ultrasonic sensor, a nearby empty parking space is found as a spare parking space, thus saving space in the parking garage and reducing the vehicle-moving steps when moving a vehicle in the parking garage, which reduces the wear on the vehicle-moving mechanical equipment during operation, and realizes high efficiency in vehicle parking and retrieval.
