Abstract:
A parking area management device (50A) comprises a third communication unit (51) and a third charging management information processing unit (523A). The third communication unit (51) is communicably connected to a charging facility (PA) installed in a parking area (X), is not communicatively connected to a vehicle control device (10) that recognizes the remaining charge of an electric vehicle (C) that is charged by means of the charging facility (PA), and is communicably connected to a vehicle management system (30) that acquires information about the remaining charge of the electric vehicle (C) from the vehicle control device (10) at regular time intervals. The third charging management information processing unit (523A) acquires the information about the remaining charge of the electric vehicle (C) from the vehicle management system (30) during an ongoing process of charging the electric vehicle (C) by means of the charging facility (PA), and stops the ongoing charging process upon sensing that the electric vehicle (C) has reached a full-charge value on the basis of the acquired information.
