Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent wrinkles from occurring in the fold line of paper regardless of conditions such as the type and size of the paper subjected to folding processing, and to ensure the accuracy of position of the fold line when folding the fold-back portion (such as the flap portion) of an envelope. [Solution] A folding-back means is equipped with a pair of upper and lower guide plates that form part of a paper transport path at the folding position. A folding plate is configured so that, when the folding plate is rotated from the placing position to the overlapping position, the lower surface of the folding plate overlaps with the upper surface of the upper guide plate among the pair of upper and lower guide plates.
