A paper feed cassette (21) comprises a mounting plate (33) that is arranged on a bottom plate (31a) of a body part (31), a shaft (61) that extends in the width direction, a lift plate (35) that rotates around the shaft (61) and raises/lowers an end part of the mounting plate (33) that is downstream in a feed direction, and a pair of side cursors (37F, 37R) that can move toward and away from each other in the width direction. Both end parts of the shaft (61) are rotatably supported by the body part (31) further to the outside in the width direction than the pair of side cursors (37F, 37R) as positioned furthest away from each other. The pair of side cursors (37F, 37R) have recesses (79) formed at lower ends of contact walls (71F, 71R) that are to contact side surfaces of sheets. The recesses (79) are fitted onto the shaft (61) from above and slide over the shaft (61) when the pair of side cursors (37F, 37R) move.
