Abstract:
An information processing device (100) comprises an identification unit (102) that uses facial recognition to identify a person that has passed through a gate of a paid area of a means of transportation, a settlement processing unit (104) that performs settlement processing for a fare for the identified person, a transmission unit (106) that transmits information that indicates that the means of transportation was used to a terminal of the identified person, and a refund processing unit 108 that performs refund processing for the settled fare when prescribed information has been acquired from the terminal.
