Abstract:

This overhead conveyance vehicle comprises: a traveling cart that travels on a track; a body section provided so as to be rotatable relative to the traveling cart; a transfer device that is provided to the body section and capable of dispatching articles horizontally; and an obstacle sensor that is provided in the body section so as not to overlap with the direction in which the transfer device dispatches articles, said obstacle sensor serving to detect obstacles located in front of the traveling cart in the direction of travel thereof.
