Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of connectors. Provided in the present invention are an outer conductor assembly of a connector, and a connector, which solve the problems in the prior art of the positioning precision failing to meet requirements, as well as low reliability and low assembly efficiency. The technical features are as follows: the outer conductor assembly comprises a cylindrical outer conductor and an insulator sleeved inside the outer conductor; the outer conductor is internally provided with a first chamber, a second chamber and a third chamber which are successively connected; the radial size of the second chamber is different from the radial sizes of the first chamber and the third chamber; inner walls of the first chamber and the second chamber are connected by means of a first step surface; inner walls of the second chamber and the third chamber are connected by means of a second step surface; an annular protrusion or an annular recess is formed in the periphery of the insulator; and at least part of two axial annular end surfaces of the annular protrusion or the annular recess respectively abut against the first step surface and the second step surface, so as to achieve axial positioning of the insulator in the outer conductor.
