Abstract:
Provided is an outdoor sensing device having a structure allowing water or moisture condensation that has entered the interior of the body of a device to be directly discharged while achieving prevention of entry of a specific penetrant, the outdoor sensing device having improved design freedom due to lack of limitations in exterior design. The outdoor sensing device comprises: a function unit including a sensing element and a processing circuit; a cover unit having predetermined dimensions and including an inner cover accommodating the function unit therein and an outer cover accommodating the inner cover therein; and a base unit. The inner cover has a water penetration-preventing structure for preventing penetration of water from the outside of the inner cover between the function unit and the optical member, and further has a bottom wall having a drain hole and a guiding portion for guiding the water toward the drain hole. The bottom wall of the outside cover has a predetermined gap from the bottom wall of the inside cover, includes a drain portion for draining water from the drain hole to the outside of the outdoor sensing device, and further has a visual recognition-preventing structure covering the drain hole of the inner cover to prevent visual recognition of the drain hole from the outside of the outdoor sensing device when viewed from below.
