Abstract:
This optical communication device comprises: one or more light distribution units that are each provided with a first surface having a plurality of first ports and a second surface having a plurality of second ports and being different from the first surface, the first ports having allocated thereto one or more subscriber sending device ports for connection with n-number (n is an integer of 1 or more) of subscriber sending devices and one or more downlink signal ports, the second ports having allocated thereto one or more subscriber reception device ports for connection with n-number of subscriber reception devices and one or more uplink signal ports, and that output, from the second ports, optical signals inputted from the first ports; and a light distribution control unit that controls the connection relationship between the first ports and the second ports of said one or more light distribution units.
