Abstract:
This operating device (3) for a vehicle transmission comprises: a base bracket (10) that is fixed to a vehicle body of a vehicle; a slider lever (11) that is slidably supported with respect to the base bracket (10) and is provided with a shift knob (4); and a main gear (12) which is rotatably supported by the base bracket (10) and has gear teeth (36) on the outer circumference thereof and to which an end of a shift wire (40) of a vehicle transmission is connected at a position separated from a gear support shaft (35) of the base bracket (10), wherein a slider lever (11) has a rack gear (30) formed along a slide direction of the slider lever (11) and engaging with the gear teeth (36) of the main gear (12), and as the slider lever (11) slides, the main gear (12) is rotated, and the shift wire (40) is pushed and pulled to shift the transmission.
