Abstract:
Provided are an objective optical system, an imaging device, and an endoscope which are capable of: ensuring lens movement stroke at the time of focus adjustment; suppressing the impact of misalignment and the deterioration of optical performance due to manufacturing error; and setting the baseline length of a left eye objective optical system and a right eye objective optical system so that such length is shorter at the time of 3D viewing. The objective optical system comprises, in order from the object side: a front group FG; an aperture stop S; and a rear group RG. The front group FG includes: a negative refractive power first lens L1 in which a concave surface is faced toward the image side; a negative refractive power second lens L2; and a positive refractive power third lens L3. The rear group includes: a positive refractive power fourth lens L4; and a positive refractive power fifth lens L5. The fifth lens L5 is a cemented lens and satisfies the following conditional expression (1). 2.3 < f3/f5 < 20 (1). Here, f3 represents the focal distance of the third lens L3, and f5 represents the focal distance of the fifth lens L5.
