Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to make an object measuring system compatible with a wide variety of product display situations. This object measuring system comprises an inverted U-shaped fitting 31, a C-shaped fitting 34, and a connecting sensor portion 3 including a strain inducing body 32 and a strain gauge 4. The inverted U-shaped fitting 31 is detachably fixed to a prescribed type of fixing target object (such as a rectangular bar 1 of a shelf in fig. 1), among n types of fixing target object. The C-shaped fitting 34 is detachably connected to an object display fixture 2 in which a prescribed type of object locking technique among m types of technique has been adopted. The strain inducing body 32 connects the inverted U-shaped fitting 31 and the merchandise display fixture 2 regardless of the type of fixing target object and the type of object locking technique. The strain gauge 4 detects a change in stress (physical force) applied to the strain inducing body 32, and outputs a signal corresponding to the change.
