Abstract:
Provided is a nucleoside represented by formula (1). [In formula (1): R1 represents a hydroxyl group, a hydroxyl group in which the hydrogen atom is substituted by an alkyl or alkenyl group, or a protected hydroxyl group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a protecting group of the hydroxyl group, a phosphate group, a protected phosphate group, a protected phosphorothioate group or -P(=O)nR5R6 (wherein n represents 0 or 1, and R5 and R6 are the same as or different from each other and represent any of a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a protected hydroxyl group, a mercapto group, a protected mercapto group, a lower alkoxy group, a cyano lower alkoxy group, an amino group or a substituted amino group, provided that when n is 1, then R5 and R6 cannot both be hydrogen atoms); R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a protecting group of the hydroxyl group, a phosphate group, a protected phosphate group or a phosphorothioate group; R4 represents a hydroxyl group, a protected hydroxyl group, an azide group or NHR7; R7 represents a hydrogen atom or a protecting group of the amino group; and B represents a purine base or a pyrimidine base.]
