Abstract:
The present invention can produce an L-amino acid oxidase at a low cost and in a large quantity through a high expression of a recombinant protein, and the like, and provides a novel L-amino acid oxidase (ArtLAAO) having a wide substrate selectivity. This novel L-amino acid oxidase is a protein comprising any one of amino acid sequences (1) to (4): (1) an amino acid sequence including an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 3 or SEQ ID NO; 5, and having an L-amino acid oxidase activity; (2) an amino acid sequence including an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 3 or SEQ ID NO: 5 with one or more amino acids deleted, substituted or added, and having an L-amino acid oxidase activity; (3) an amino acid sequence including an amino acid sequence having at least 90% amino acid identity with the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, and having an L-amino acid oxidase activity; and (4) an amino acid sequence including an amino acid sequence having at least 98% amino acid identity with the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 3 or SEQ ID NO: 5, and having an L-amino acid oxidase activity.
