Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel cyclic pentadepsipeptide, a novel microorganism producing same, and a composition comprising the compound as an active ingredient for regeneration or would healing. More specifically, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for skin regeneration or wound healing, a cosmetic composition for skin regeneration or wound alleviation, a quasi-drug composition for skin regeneration or wound healing, and a health functional food composition for skin regeneration or wound alleviation, each composition comprising acremoitamide, which is a novel cyclic peptadepsipeptide, as an active ingredient. Acremonitamide, which is a novel cyclic peptadepsipeptide isolated from a fungus strain derived from marine deposits according to the present invention, is free of cytotoxicity and thus safe to the skin, and when applied, acremonitamide significantly increases in cellular infiltration ability, forms neoblastic tissues and remarkably reduces scars at wound sites and as such, can be advantageously used in medicinal products, cosmetic products, and foods for skin regeneration and wound healing.
