Abstract:
The present invention relates to a notification device for a rider and a method for controlling same, and relates to an easily attachable and detachable notification device for a rider and a method for controlling same. An embodiment of the present invention provides a notification device for a rider, the notification device including a bracket attached to a helmet, and a body detachably coupled to the bracket, and providing external notification of the driving state of a user, wherein the body includes: a sensor unit that senses, in real time, the velocity in the driving direction and the acceleration and angular velocity in the forward, rearward, leftward, and rightward directions with respect to the driving direction; a notification unit that outputs a notification under control of a control unit; a memory unit that stores the velocity, the acceleration, and the angular velocity sensed by the sensor unit; the control unit which determines the driving state on the basis of the sensed velocity, the sensed acceleration, and the sensed angular velocity, and controls the notification unit according to the determined driving state; and a housing part in which the sensor unit, the memory unit, the notification unit, and the control unit are accommodated, and which can be coupled to the bracket.
