The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate.The present disclosure provides a node in a wireless communication system and a method performed by the same. A method performed by a second node in a wireless communication system according to embodiments of the present disclosure may include: receiving a second message including information about measurement relaxation from a first node; and transmitting a seventh message including a reference signal transmission suggestion to a third node.
