Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a nitride-based AC-DC converter and a system. The converter includes, a transformer, a first switching element, a second switching element, a third switching element, and a fourth switching element. The transformer includes a primary winding coupled to an AC source and a secondary winding coupled to a load. The secondary winding includes a first section and a second section. The first switching element is coupled to a negative terminal of the AC source through a fuse. The second switching element is coupled between the first switching element and the primary winding of the transformer. The first switching element and the second switching element are coupled serially. The third switching element is coupled to the first section of the secondary winding of the transformer. The fourth switching element is coupled to the second section of the secondary winding of the transformer.
