Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a network configuration method, and a device. The method may comprise: a second device sending to a first device a first MAC address and first indication information of a second device; according to the first indication information, the first device enabling an SSID as a wireless access point of the first MAC address; a third device sending to the first device a first connection request message for requesting access to the SSID as the wireless access point of the first MAC address, wherein the first connection request message comprises the first MAC address; and the third device accessing the SSID as the wireless access point of the first MAC address, and establishing a network connection with the first device. By means of the technical solution, a device can automatically perform network configuration and establish a network connection, thereby avoiding manual input of network configuration parameters by a user, and thus improving the degree of intellectualization of whole-house intelligence and the network configuration efficiency.
