Abstract:
The present application provides a neighbor cell measurement method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method comprises: a terminal device determines, according to one or more measurement criteria, whether to perform a neighbor cell measurement, wherein the one or more measurement criteria comprise measurement criteria based on the location of the terminal device. Regarding a neighbor cell measurement, measurement criteria based on the location of a terminal device are introduced in embodiments of the present application, and compared with a measurement based on RSRP, the measurement based on the location of a terminal device is more accurate, thereby avoiding misoperation of the terminal device.
