Abstract:
The present application provides a negative electrode material, a preparation method therefor, a secondary battery, and an electrical device. The negative electrode material of the present application has a core/shell structure and comprises an inner core and an outer shell; wherein the inner core is a negative electrode active material; the outer shell comprises a first shell layer covering the surface of the inner core and a second shell layer covering the surface of the first shell layer; the first shell layer is a transition metal compound layer, the second shell layer is a conductive layer, the maximum thickness of the first shell layer is less than or equal to 10nm, and the second shell is a carbon layer; and the total thickness of the outer shell is less than or equal to 15nm. The use of the negative electrode material can improve the structural stability of the negative electrode material, reduce the probability of a coating layer cracking, and simultaneously allow the negative electrode material to maintain a relatively high energy density.
