Abstract:
The present invention relates to a nano-compatibilized polypropylene-polystyrene composition and a preparation method therefor. The composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 60-80 parts of a polypropylene resin, 20-40 parts of modified polystyrene nanofiber non-woven fabric, 0.1-1 part of an antioxidant and 0.1-1 part of a lubricant. The preparation method comprises: feeding the polypropylene resin, the antioxidant and the lubricant into a mixer to be fully mixed; then delivering same to a main feeder of a screw extruder; and meanwhile, feeding the modified polystyrene nanofiber non-woven fabric via an eighth-area side feed port under control of a loss-in-weight feeder; carrying out melt extrusion at the extrusion temperature of 180-210 ℃ and the screw rotation speed of 200-500 r/min; and cooling and granulating same to obtain the nano-compatibilized polypropylene-polystyrene composition. Compared with the prior art, the present invention can effectively improve the compatibility between polystyrene and polypropylene. The produced polystyrene/polypropylene resin composition has excellent toughness and chemical resistance and high strength. In addition, the resin composition is easy to prepare and has low material cost and high production efficiency, thereby overcoming the defects in properties of polystyrene and polypropylene.
