Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a mussel byssus water-resistant bio-based EVA sole and a preparation method therefor. Components of the sole comprise bio-based EVA, bio-based ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, bio-based mixed polyurethane, a mussel byssus short fiber, an AC foaming agent, a crosslinking agent BIBP, zinc oxide, zinc stearate, stearic acid, a wear-resistant agent, and biological calcium carbonate. The mussel byssus short fiber is extracted from a filament part of the fresh mussel, and comprises an elastic fiber and a rigid fiber. The elastic fiber is a byssus on a proximal end of the mussel. The rigid fiber is a byssus on a tip end of mussel. The average length of the mussel byssus short fiber is 1-3 microns. According to the present invention, the waste byssus in the mussel processing process is fully utilized as a biological raw material, so that the toughness and the water resistance of a sole substrate are improved.
