Methods performed by a communication device and a network node and corresponding apparatuses in which a communication device (12) transmits, to a network node in a communication network (10), information (18) about a capability of the communication device (12) to perform a multi-carrier positioning measurement (14) and then it performs the multi-carrier positioning measurement (14) and the network node receives the information about the capability of the communication device to perform a multi-carrier positioning measurement and it uses the information to perform one or more operational tasks.
