Abstract:
The current invention provides a motor cum alternator system (786) that can power the electrical appliance and can work as a motor too. On starting the system with the help of starter key (4) the DC to AC controller (3) convert the direct current from the rechargeable battery (2) to alternating current and supply it to the electrical appliance (1) and to the motor cum alternator. More specifically the current is supplied to the primary copper winding (10a) of the circular nylon stator (7). The alternating current supplied to the primary copper winding (10a) can be controlled through a voltage controller (5). The electrical energy generated due to the rotation of nylon rotor (11) is stored in the rectifier and capacitor (14) and provided to the rechargeable battery (2) its recharge. The cutoff switch (17) disconnects the electrical supply to the rechargeable battery (2) to avoid the overcharging.

Referring to Figure 10, on starting the system with the help of starter key (4) the DC to AC controller (3) convert the direct current from the rechargeable battery (2) to alternating current and supply it to the electrical appliance (1) and to the motor cum alternator.

In one preferred embodiment, said shaft (20) of nylon rotor (11) is put in contact with the rotatable object. Such a rotatable object may be a shaft of a vehicle axle system Thus, a vehicle can be run through the motor. Said DC to AC controller (3) provide the alternating current to an electrical appliance (1) and said primary copper winding (10a).

In one preferred embodiment, said electrical appliance (1) is selected from an inverter and a motor. The alternating current provided by said DC to AC controller (3) to said primary copper winding (10a) may be controlled through a voltage controller (5).

In one embodiment, said electrical appliance (1) is the inverter supplying electricity to household or commercial purpose electrical equipments. This can provide the electrical energy in the home and industry. The shaft (20) of the nylon rotor (11) can be used as the shaft of motor.

It can be used in agricultural and industrial sectors as well as for household purposes also. Hereinafter the invention is described more elaborately in detail with examples. Examples are merely for illustrative purpose and should not be construed as to limit the scope of invention. Construction and working of the invention:

Example 1: Wagon R Petrol car converted into Electric vehicle

The motor cum alternator system (786) is constructed as shown in the Figures 2 to 4.

The combustion engine was removed from the vehicle and a motor cum alternator system (786) was installed in it. This motor was put in contact with the axel system of the wheel. The 20 Kilowatt rechargeable batteries were used. The vehicle could run for 170 Kilmeter range and with 5 person on load it could run up to 125 Kilometer range. It could touch up to 120 Kilometer per hour, however the speed was limited to 80 Kilometer per hour to get maximum range. After initial 20 kilometer running the pickup was increased. The vehicle was run till 8 hours and the battery was self- recharged.
