Abstract:
The present invention provides a motor control method for controlling the operation of an open-winding multi-phase motor, the method comprising: calculating, on the basis of a torque command value, a basic electric power command value for defining phase components and a zero-phase component of an electric power to be supplied to a stator winding; executing zero-phase electric current control that corrects the basic electric power command value using a zero-phase electric current adjustment correction value for adjusting a zero-phase electric current that flows in each phase to yield a corrected electric power command value; and, on the basis of the corrected electric power command value, controlling the operation of an inverter that supplies electric power to the windings of the multi-phase motor. In the zero-phase electric current control, using operation state parameters of the multi-phase motor as an input, the zero-phase electric current adjustment correction value is calculated so as to generate a zero-phase electric current having a frequency component that is an odd number multiple of the number of phases of the stator windings.
