Abstract:
This motor control device drives a 2-phase synchronous motor. The motor control device includes: a control current waveform generating means that generates a control current waveform obtained by superimposing a basic sine wave, and a reluctance torque correction waveform that suppresses fluctuation of the reluctance torque of the 2-phase synchronous motor; and a current control signal generating means that generates a current control signal for supplying current to the windings of the 2-phase synchronous motor according to the control current waveform generated by the control current waveform generating means. The reluctance torque correction waveform may have a waveform for which full-wave rectification is performed on an original waveform having double the frequency of the basic sine wave and having the phase matched with basic sine wave, to the same sign or a different sign from the basic sine wave.
