Abstract:
A motion generation device (3) generates the motion of a slide (11) of a press device (5) which comprises the slide (11) to which an upper mold (7a) is attached, a bolster (12) on which a lower mold (7b) is placed, and a servo motor (15) which causes vertical reciprocating action of the slide (11), said motion generation device (3) comprising a motion generation unit (32). The motion generation unit (32) generates a derivative motion (Mim) of the slide (11) during a cycle time (Tm), which differs from a cycle time (TStd), such that, of a standard motion (Mi) of the slide (11) during the cycle time (TStd), at least a first region (Mim(1)), which includes a region from an upper dead point to the end position of a molding region, is identical and such that the speed of the slide (11) at the upper dead point is identical to the speed in the standard motion (Mi).
