Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a molded article in which the difference in thermal conductivity between a center portion and a portion located on an outer peripheral surface-side is small; and a method for producing the molded article. [Solution] A sheet-shaped molded article having an aluminum−silicon carbide composite obtained by impregnating a silicon carbide porous body with a metal containing aluminum, wherein the difference in density according to Archimedes' method between a center portion and at least a portion of an outer portion located further on the outer peripheral surface-side than the center portion of the aluminum−silicon carbide composite is 3% or less.
