Description:
A MODULAR-DESIGNED PANEL SYSTEM TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to a panel system developed to be used in electrical solutions and in creating work areas that allow sound and visual isolation in open office spaces.

PRIOR ART

Depending on the architectural elements in traditional panel systems, office furniture is also designed in square, rectangular and angular forms. The common purpose of these designs is to allow maximum use of space in areas already designed in the same forms. Considering this inclination, panel systems are designed to compartmentalize open workspaces or to create areas therein that will minimize visual contact and provide privacy.

In current applications, panels made of aluminum profiles in the form of a full frame are generally used. The biggest disadvantage of these products is the assembly difficulties, and challenges in the replacement of damaged/deformed panel surfaces. It is not possible to make this change without interfering with the main structure in most products.

In systems made of aluminum profiles, the increase in the number of vertical carriers, especially by differentiating them according to different connection types, creates both semi-product surplus and inventory costs. Compared to systems produced with minimum parts, they cause an economic disadvantage to the end user.

In these panel systems where work areas are created, it is often not possible to meet the electrification needs of the users. In possible alternatives, the access to the interior of the panels is limited, but operations such as cable insertion/removal and new-line drawing may require professional assembly support.

While the said panel systems can fulfill the functions of space division, the related desktop use is not offered or they cannot be integrated with work desks. The purpose of the invention is to increase the number of variants in multi-functional panel structures and to facilitate assembly when creating workspaces.

It comprises a modular panel system that includes a vertical profile; a horizontal profile connected to the vertical profile from a free end, and a separator panel adapted on the horizontal profile in a manner that it will separate the work area, all provided within a work area and placed with a distance to each other. In the invention, there is a cap coaxially fixing a shoe lock placed on a free end of the vertical profile, on one hand, to a support latch attached to a conduit in the horizontal profile, on the other hand. In this way, a suitable support latch for fixing horizontal profiles can be extended by simply placing the cap on the vertical profile. The cap, which provides flexibility, not only helps to carry the horizontal profile load at the end of the vertical profiles, but also allows the connection of various horizontal profiles with the support latches that can extend in different directions. The structure of horizontal profiles with these directions can be, for example, T, V, W, plus.

A preferred embodiment of the invention includes a central hole opening from the center of the cap towards the vertical profile. The central hole makes it possible to do the assembly or to pass through an electrical or network cable, by simply inserting a fastener through the vertical profile.

A preferred embodiment of the invention includes a locking screw that extends from the hole and fixes the support latch together with the cap to the vertical profile, respectively. The locking screw allows the support latch to be locked after adjusting its angle with respect to the vertical profile. In this way, it is possible to mount a horizontal profile at the desired angle during installation.

A preferred embodiment of the invention includes a shoe lock that holds the support latch from the bottom and to which the cap is firmly attached with its downward extensions. The shoe lock allows fittings or vertical profile to be fitted on the cap, for example with a snap-fit joint.

A preferred embodiment of the invention includes a shoe insulation that is placed under the shoe lock and tightens it with a screw part where the locking screw is fixed. The shoe insulation ensures that the locking screw correctly presses against the support latch, by compression.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it includes a nut that is placed on the lower end of the locking screw. The nut allows the compression force to be adjusted as desired and allows the system to be disassembled when necessary.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the support latch includes a steel bar-shaped extension extending radially outward from the cap. The steel bar extension easily passes into a conduit in the horizontal profile, for example in the groove structure, and meets the forces in the shear direction.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the shoe lock includes a peripheral toe form placed on the vertical profile from the outside. The toe form allows easy mounting of the cap by fitting on the vertical profile, for example in pipe structure or similar hollow forms.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cap is in a mushroom-like hollow form. In this way, it can completely cover the face of the vertical profile.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION

In this detailed description, the subject of the invention has been illustrated by way of non-exhaustive examples that only serve to better explain the subject.

In Figure 1 and Figure 2, the modular design, which is the subject of the invention, shows the cap assembly units (b) of the panel support unit (a) in a panel system. The cap assembly of the panel support unit is performed by interlocking a cap shoe lock screw (1), a cap shoe (2), a panel support lock (3), a shoe lock (4), a shoe insulation (5), and by locking a nut (6) from the bottom.

In Figure 3, the modular design, which is the subject of the invention, shows the assembly of the cap unit (b) of the panel support unit (a) in a panel system, to a profile pipe (7) and a panel guide (8). Mounting of the cap unit of the panel support unit to a profile pipe (7) includes the processes of pushing the profile pipe through a central hole (11) which it has, towards the shoe lock, and fitting it to the part between the shoe lock (4) and the shoe insulation (5). Mounting of the cap unit of the panel support unit to a panel guide (8) includes pushing a conduit (13) line passing through the panel guide (8) towards a panel support lock. The panel guide and cap unit are not allowed to be dislodged, by screwing the mushroom head screw (9) from above.

In Figure 4, the modular design, which is the subject of the invention, shows the assembled applications of the panel support units in a panel system. The assembled versions of the panel support units include a power line hole (10) located under a profile pipe. Versatile partitioning of the panel support units in the desired circumstances is provided by mounting of the panel guides (8) at 90°-angle intervals.

In Figure 5, the modular design, which is the subject of the invention, shows its application as mounted on a work desk with a panel system. A work desk is balanced by sheet guides (12), mounted between the profile support units; it is balanced from the sides by the upper side sheets (14), the middle side sheets (16) and the lower side sheets (18), and it is balanced and stabilized from behind by the rear upper sheet (20) and the rear lower sheet (24). A work plane (22) is also inserted by pushing it into the sheet guide. In addition, the work desk assembly has the feature of connecting a multi-socket, which can be mounted to the multi-socket compartment (26) located under the rear lower sheet (24), to the electrical cable passed through the power line hole (10).

In Figure 6, the modular design covered by the invention shows the application of a panel system as mounted on a work desk. The application is performed by assembling the two-compartment work assembly (30) containing a multiple-socket compartment (26) to the system installed on the legs (40) of the desk; by providing the partitioning by mounting the separator support profile pipe (28) and the separator sheet (36), installed on the desk, and by mounting the partitioning through the space in the middle of the desk, by fixing the lower screw (32), the support washer (34) and the retaining spacer washer (38) to the desk.
