Abstract:
Provided are a modified green coke material, a preparation method therefor, and the use thereof. In a polarization structure of the modified green coke material, the sum of the proportions of long and fine fiber texture and the wide area structure is 55-99%, and the content of volatile components in the modified green coke material is less than 5% and not less than 1%. After modification, the long and fine fiber structures and the wide area structure in the green coke are increased, and the volatile components are effectively reduced, such that light components are further eliminated, thereby eliminating the self-bonding characteristic of the raw material, and therefore further agglomeration during subsequent heat treatment processes for graphite preparation is prevented. The modified green coke material, when being used for preparing graphite negative electrode materials, can effectively improve the degree of graphitization, specific capacity and compaction density of artificial graphite negative electrodes, thereby achieving comprehensive improvement in properties of graphite negative electrode materials.
