Abstract:
A mobile terminal according to the present invention includes an apparatus for generating vibration and sound, the apparatus for generating vibration and sound comprising: a first vibration unit including a vibration plate and a coil coupled to the lower portion of the vibration plate; a second vibration unit including a magnet disposed below the coil; an elastic member elastically supporting the second vibration unit; a display panel disposed below the second vibration unit; and a vibration transmission unit for transmitting the vibration of the first vibration unit to the display panel, wherein the second vibration unit vibrates according to an electric signal applied to the coil so as to generate a vibration output, or the first vibration unit vibrates and the vibration is transmitted to the display panel through the vibration transmission unit so as to generate an acoustic output by means of the vibration of the display panel.
