Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mixed iron ore beneficiation method. Mixed iron ore is subjected to processes of high-pressure roller grinding for pre-separation, weak magnetic separation, strong magnetic separation, direct flotation and reverse flotation, to obtain qualified iron ore concentrate. The grade of the mixed iron ore is low, and the content of magnetite is 50% or above. In response to the present situation that the grade of the mixed iron ore is increasingly low and the content of magnetic iron in ore is significantly risen, the present invention provides a mixed iron ore beneficiation method based on high-pressure roller grinding for pre-separation and hematite/magnetite separation, in which on the basis of differences between the magnetite and the hematite in magnetism and floatability, the magnetite is first separated by means of magnetic separation with a simple flow and low costs, while the hematite having high floatability is pre-concentrated by means of strong magnetic separation and is further concentrated by means of a direct flotation process, a large amount of tailings are discarded, and reverse flotation is then performed to obtain qualified iron ore concentrate. In this way, the usage of chemical agents is reduced, and the workload during flotation is lowered. The method has important significance for efficient utilization of such iron ore.
