Abstract:
A microwave exciting light source device (1) according to the present application comprises a central conductor (2) extending in an axial direction, an annular conductor (3) which is optically transparent and is arranged concentrically with the central conductor (2), a light emitting tube (4) which has a light emitting substance sealed therein, and which is arranged so as to extend in the axial direction in an annular space formed between the central conductor (2) and the annular conductor (3), and a supporting unit (5) which supports the central conductor (2), the annular conductor (3), and the light emitting tube (4), and which forms an electrical connection pathway for applying microwaves to the central conductor (2) and the annular conductor (3), wherein, in a plane perpendicular to the axial direction, one closed curve drawn along a tube wall (4w) of the light emitting tube (4) intersects a line drawn from the central conductor (2) toward the annular conductor (3) zero times or an even number of times.
