Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for transfer dyeing of denim using a suspension dye, comprising: 1) desizing original denim grey cloth to obtain denim grey cloth; 2) applying a cationic treatment solution to the front and back surfaces of the denim grey cloth to obtain cationic-treated denim grey cloth; (3) feeding the cationic-treated denim grey cloth into a transfer dyeing device which is integrally closed and filled with an inert gas, and performing transfer dyeing by using suspension dye ink to obtain dyed denim grey cloth; 4) taking out the dyed denim grey cloth from the transfer dyeing device, and then contacting the dyed denim grey cloth with air to be sufficiently oxidized and developed by oxygen to obtain developed denim grey cloth; and 5) performing after-treatment on the developed denim grey cloth to obtain a dyed denim product. The method provided by the present invention is characterized by using a specific transfer dyeing device.
