Abstract:

A method and system for realizing multicast service of multimedia broadcast. The multicast service of multimedia broadcast is loading on the different multicast of multimedia broadcast loads. Each of the multicast load of multimedia broadcast is corresponding to one multicast area of multimedia broadcast. The associate relation is established for the different multicast loads of multimedia broadcast of the same type of multicast service of multimedia broadcast on the network side. UE is switched between the different multicast areas of multimedia broadcast. The multicast load of multimedia broadcast in the multicast area of multimedia broadcast in which UE is now is provided to UE by the network side based on the associate relation requested by UE.
