Abstract:

The present disclosure relates to providing an oral environment model of a subject, or a medium representing that model. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a medium for culturing oral indicator bacteria using oral components as an inoculum, wherein the medium contains approximately 0.1% or less of glucose or a glucose-generating substance, approximately 10 g/L or less of a nitrogen source, and a divalent metal ion.
