Disclosed in the present invention is a method for safety early warning for construction site personnel, comprising: presetting a first-level safety distance L1 and a second-level safety distance L2 in a server, wherein L1>L2; identifying a danger source in an electronic map, setting a danger source level, and setting safety factors N1, N2 and N3; a location acquisition device acquiring the location of a constructor and uploading the location to the server; and the server calculating a distance from the nearest danger source and determining whether to send out first-level early warning information and second-level early warning information. According to the method, two levels of early warning are set, and safety factors N1, N2 and N3 are considered, so that L10 and L20 are calculated; location information of a constructor is acquired, an actual distance from a danger source is calculated, and relationships between the actual distance and L10 and L20 are determined, so that early warning information is more consistent with a specific safety condition of a construction site, and various casualty accidents and quality accidents on site can be effectively avoided.
